We break away from the hegemonic, linear gaze to craft authentic, bold narratives rooted in lived experiences. Our work is a rebellion against monologue storytelling, rethinking visual culture to center care, equity, and nuance. Through our work, we aim to melt hierarchies, disrupt norms, and bring forth the complex, layered realities of communities and their humanity.

Vidushi weaves stories, systems, and energy into everything she creates—whether through animation, illustrations, or designing experiences that spark change. She moves between strategy and storytelling with a deep belief in symbiosis, radical love, ethical representation and the quiet power of nurturing ideas (and plants). If she’s not creating, she’s likely reading rooms, growing something, or having a silent conversation with a tree.

🎨 Illustrator, Textile Designer & A Good Witch
Medhavini brings 15 years of experience in illustration and textile design, but her real magic lies in weaving spirituality, eco-feminism, and interconnections into every piece of art. A true earth child, she lives on a farm, grows her own food, and finds inspiration in nature, her two boys, and her two cats. Her work isn’t just visual—it’s a quiet revolution, reminding us that art, earth, and energy are always connected.

From animation to visual design to leading creative teams, Ashwin’s journey has been shaped by one question: Why must people adapt to rigid systems instead of systems evolving for them? This curiosity led him to what he is doing now, where he now crafts experiences that make complex ideas—economic, social, or cultural—more accessible and intuitive. At We Are Stories, he blends storytelling, strategy, and design to create work that informs, inspires, and sparks change.
